Embodiment of the invention The invention relates to a timepiece comprising a movement comprising a vortex regulator. This tourbillon is of the three-axis type, also called triple tourbillon. More specifically, the timepiece comprises a first fixed wheel 10 secured to a frame, typically the platen of the movement. It also comprises a first cage 20 pivotally mounted on the frame and intended to be rotated by a power source along a first axis A1 via a first drive gear 22, also called cage gear. The timepiece also comprises a second cage 30 pivotally mounted on the first cage 20 along a second axis A2. This second axis is substantially perpendicular to a general plane defined by the first cage 20. The second cage 30 comprises a second drive gear 32 which cooperates with the first fixed wheel 10. By this means, the second cage 30 is intended to be rotated by the energy source along the second axis A2. The timepiece further comprises a third cage 40 pivotally mounted on the second cage 30 along a third axis A3 (coincident with A1 in the particular configuration of Figure 1). This third axis is substantially perpendicular to a general plane defined by the second cage. The third cage 40 comprises a third drive gear 42 which cooperates with a second fixed wheel 24, integral with the first cage 20. By this means, the third cage 40 is intended to be rotated by the energy source according to the third axis. The third cage 40 supports an escape mechanism, for example of Swiss anchor type, comprising a balance-type oscillator spiral 50, an anchor and an escapement mobile 52 cooperating with a third fixed wheel 34, secured of the second cage. Through the various wheels, the torque supplied by the power source to the first drive pinion is transmitted to the escapement mobile which maintains the oscillations of the balance. The third cage 40 is pivotally mounted on the second cage 30 by means of at least two pivot members 44, located on either side of the oscillator. The third cage 40 is not mounted flying, which gives it a better stability and therefore a better accuracy in the operation of the regulator. More specifically, in the embodiment proposed in FIG. 1, the third cage 40 is pivoted to a first, lower side in the figure, by a pivot 46 integral with the third cage, cooperating with a bearing 36 integral with the second cage. On a second side of the oscillator, again according to the illustrated example, the third cage 40 is pivoted by an axis 48, integral with the third cage, pivoting in a tube 38 secured to the second cage 30. A stone 39 ensures guiding and pivoting the axis. This axis carries at its end the third drive pinion 42. Various variants of pivoting systems can be envisaged. The first cage 20 is mounted flying. In other words, the first cage is rotated on one side. The cage has at least one lower bridge, located on the side of the plate. The first cage has pivoting means only on the side of the lower bridge. Advantageously, the first cage is pivoted on the frame by means of a ball bearing 26. A ring of this bearing is driven into the frame and another ring of this bearing is secured to the first cage 20. Such a solution improves the stability of the first cage. The first cage could also be pivoted on two bearings, located on two opposite sides of the cage. Similarly, the second cage, rotated by two of its sides in the example, could also be flying. Advantageously, the axis of the balance is parallel to the third axis. Such an arrangement confers a particularly successful aesthetic to this tourbillon, whose exhaust and different cages are very visible. The different cages can still be treated so that they have visually distinguishable surfaces, for example by using differentiated color bridges for the different cages, in order to enhance the attractiveness and to allow a better understanding and visualization of the mechanism. .
